SAP gui 7.10 problem in XP

Hello!

I'm planning to install the SAP GUI 7.10.

But the upgrade's consultants says that SAP GUI 7.10 is not recommended unless i have Win Vista installed.

I have Win XP installed.

I want to know if there is any problem using SAP GUI 7.10 in XP.

Hi Mariano,

You can tell your consultant to check note 147519 that states:

Important remark:

Please note that SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 will be out of maintenance on 14th of October 2008. Make sure to upgrade to release 7.10 before this date.

[Note 66971|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/66971] will tell you what platforms are supported with 7.10 which includes XP.
