Attaching EWA's as opposed including them in the body of the email.

Since upgrading to Solution Manager 4 we have not been able to attach EWA's to an email, as opposed including them in the body of the email.

Please advise.

We are having exactly the same problem and I opened a message with SAP. I will post the solution if they have one. So far they have not solved the issue.

I set up automatic emailing of the EWA, and because of our mail server, we can only receive emails in plain text. The EWAs are very difficult to read since they are produced in HTML, so I want to be able to send them as either a Word or HTML attachment.

Below is the response I just received from SAP. It is not satisfactory, but maybe they will change the process in the near future:

There is no workaround for this issue but to generate the EWA in word

format and then emailing it.

The other way would be to modify the Email server settings.

I am sorry but the automatic email would send the report in HTML format

and that is the standard design of the system.

Hopefully SAP will come up with a work around or solution.
