Converting Billing document to PDF format

Dear Friends,

When I run VK31 and enter the necessary data for converting the billing document in the PDF format, the previous billing documents created also gets appended in the file.

For e.g. I convert the billing document no 100 in PDF format. Then I convert another billing document 101 in PDF format but when I am saving the the file, billing document 100 and 101 are both saved together in one file 101.

Kindly suggest a solution to the problem.

My guess is that the spool request is not closed after the first output, therefore the next document is being appended to it. Please make sure in the Communication method to check 'Release after output' check box.

When the spool request is "closed", in SP01 it will have a note "impossible to add to". Otherwise the output for the same printer and user ID (and there is some more criteria) will be appended to the existing spool request.
