Form Printing

Hi experts

I'm an FI consultant. We have developed a program for cheque printing in pre printed stationery and all along we have been testing the print out in dot matix printer.

Now my ABAP consultant says if the print out is to be taken in line printer a new development has to be made because the allignment may change.

He also adds that even if the model in Dot matix printer varies separate development needs to be done to suit each model.

Please give your suggestions..

Hi

All comands of print are translated by device type assigned to the printer: so different printer models having the same device type in SAP should have the same behavior.

So there's no solution, when it creates a print, it should be thought to be printed often by the same printer or (printer with the same divece type).
