Hello,
We've created a new material pallet as packing material. As soon as we pack the materials from delivery with the pallet in VL02n, the pack is done correctly. However, the post goods issue is done for materials packed, but not for the pallet material.
Do you have any explanation?
Thank you,
Óscar
hi,
goto vl01n screen select the delivery line item and goto edit-pack, then spacify packaging meterial then enter.
and again select two line items goto edit-pack-pack , then goback.
in system gives a message meterial was packed.
then carryout picking, pgi.
thanks,
narayan

Dear Oscar
For Packing materials, you need to ensure certain criterias.
Please check the following:-
1) Go to *VHAR,* you create the packing material type say Pallet
2) In IMG -- Logistics-Execution --> Shipping --> Packing --> Define Material Group for Packaging Material. Here create a group, say PACK
3) Choose the next- Define Allowed Packaging Materials. Here for Material Group PACK, assign Pallet (as stated in point 1)
4) Now create packing material in material master with type VERP and also Item Category Group VERP.
5) In Sales: General/Plant tab, you need to maintain the following
a) for Matl Grp Pack.Matls as PACK
b) Packaging mat. type as Pallet
c) Allowed Pkg weight
Save the master. Now while creating delivery, after selecting Goto -- Pack, ensure that you block both the "Pack material" and "Material to be Packed". Once you do this, click on "Pack" which is above Material to be packed (left top). Once clicked the pack button, system will show a message material packed. Now select "Back" button so that you will come to the main screen of delivery.
Now do pgi and check the stock of packing material. The stock will get reduced to the extent of you posted goods issue.
thanks

Hi Nitin Chauhan and Lakshmipathi,
I've followed the steps you have done to me, but I haven't been able to make the pgi from the delivery.
BTW, our deliveries are created from scheduling agreements. So, we don't have the material pallet in the scheduling agreement. We have to add the pallet directly during the packing step.
Thank you,
Óscar

Dear oscar,
you have to do the same procedure while delivery.
pack the material in delivery.
But you have to make changes in material type, while creating or copying material in plant determination field you have to chose the option: Plant determined for the first item that was packed.
then while delivery when u pack the material it will create the second line item and after PGI your stock will also get update.
Hope this will help you out
Nitin.

Dear Oscar
B4 posting goods issue, have you clicked in one of the top tabs "Edit" and then "Pack" ?? If not, you have to reverse the PGI and redo the process.
thanks
G. Lakshmipathi
