i am using 4.7 ee ides and want to know how can we took data base backup. what is the whole procedure.

> It depends upon which databse you are using for the SAP Installation.

If the database is Oracle ->you can take backup by using BRTOOLS by configuring the initSID.sap file

If the databse is SQL Server->you can take backup by using the SQL Enterprise Manager

If the databse is MAXDB-> you cab take backup by logging into Database Manager and creating the backup medium
