i am currently working as a SAP BI consultant
i am really exited abt this MDM
my question is can i learn MDM
wat is the background required for learning MDM
h the future going to be?
i guess its going to be great in future am i right?
how i can learn MDM?

Welcome to MDM.I appreciate your interest learning MDM.
You can learn MDM and it would be more useful to you as there are some scenarios
MDM with BI.
MDM is more about design and configuration part , less on programming
part.Knowledge on database concepts would be helpful to learn MDM.But good Java
or ABAP knowledge is really helpful when we integrate the MDM with other netweaver
components.I can say that MDM itself does n't require much programming
knowledge.
MDM is still yet to be implemented by many companies.So definitiely MDM would
have good future.
There are 4 basic reference guides to start learning MDM.
1)MDM Console 2) MDM Data Manager 3) Import Manager 4)Syndicator
Go through those documents and also go thorough help.sap.com and SDN sites for
updates.
