We are a SAP service provider who have our own Solution Manager. Normally, customers use our SolMan. Now a customer wants to use its own SolMan. Is there a way to use two SolMans for Service Desk Functions? (Level 1 and level 2 Service Desks).
Would it be better idea to create one more client and give that to customer - customer will be owner of that client - in such case you can have more than one nos. of solution manager.
Newly created client configuration will not hamper earlier configuration except client independent (like what ever notes of Transport object are available in earlier client - feature of thos will also be available on new client.
Thanks and regards.

Hey Glen,
This is very much possible... This is based on scenario called Central service Provider...
You can refer the following Spro path:
Solution manger->configuration->scenario specific settings->Service Desk->preconfiguration for Service Providers..
And
Solution manger->configuration->scenario specific settings->Service Desk->Connecting to External Servicen Desk...
Go thru the documentation given in these nodes....
Reward for usefull posts..

Anand
