MDM_CLNT_EXTR for Extended IDOcs

Hello Everyone,

we wan't to use MDM_CLNT_EXTR to extract material data from R/3, and we need to use extended IDOC.

Is it possible to use this standard function for Extended IDOC's? If yes, can you tell me how to make this come true?

Is it possible to use this standard function for Extended IDOC's?

yes, you can use the standard function but you have to extend this function according to your newly added segments in the IDOC. I mean to say that you need to write code for extracting the new segment values.
