changes made by tcode - cross client, depository or client dependent ?

hi all,

how and where to check if the changes made by a tcode are cross client or depository or client dependent ?

normally we will only find out when the system displays below message

"Changes to Repository objects are not permitted in this client"

comment and advice will be highly be apprecaited.

There are hundreds if not thousands of transactions and I don't know of a chart that would list where the transaction makes changes.

You should not see this message very often. If you are getting this in your development client, then your system is not configured correctly. If you are seeing this in your test or production environments, then you are very likely running the transaction in the wrong place.

Hi,

The message Changes to Repository objects are not permitted in this client"

says that in your system there are no changes can be made the system is notopen for any changes,

this is set in scc4 the client options.
