hi Chandu
you can extract the xml files directly into ready folders after defining the repository and FTP server name.Prerequisite is you have made the Application server FTP compliant and the distribution folders as well. While maintaining repository and FTP server settings in MDMGX follow this:
FTP server --->Connection to the FTP server containing the MDM port folder structure
MDM Root ---> Root folder of the local MDM port folder structure Usually this is the folder of your MDM Server instance. When the MDM server creates the port folder structure, it first creates a folder for the server itself. The folder is named <ServerName>_<DataBaseType>. The MDM Console creates the folder structures for the specific repositories and ports below
this folder.
The name of the MDM root depends on how you defined the FTP server root. If the FTP server root already points to the server older, you do not need to enter an MDM root.
refer to MDMGX doc for further details.
