Hi all,
I am doing IDoc scenario and it is working fine.
When i transport this scenario from Quality server to PI Production it is showing wrong BS name in scenario.
Following are the settings available in my SLD.
There are 3 BS for PI servers: PID , PIQ , PIP
and 3 BS for SAP servers: SAPD , SAPQ , SAPP.
I have created 2 groups DEV and PRD and following BS are assigned to it.
DEV group: PID , PIQ , SAPD , SAPQ
PRD group: PIP, SAPP
Following are the transport targets maintained:
Source->Target
PID->PIP
PIQ->PIP
SAPD->SAPP
SAPQ->SAPP.
With this settings when i transport my PI scenario from PIQ to PIP then the SAPQ Business System should get changed to SAPP automatically. However unfortunately it is getting changed to PIP.
Can anybody suggest why is it happening? Am i doing something wrong? Where to look for the correct settings?
Thanks,
Atul
Are you on single SLD?
when you move your interface from the Q envinorment to P, the SAP system name is getting resolved wrongly.
cross check the following things
1. in the Configuration of the interface in the Q envinorment whats the BS name of the SAP (i hope it is SAPQ)
if it is then come to the group (transport targets) and check is it porperly linked to SAPP..
if this is fine...cross check the names of the systems are properly pointing to the correct system.
i think it might be stuck in either of these places.
just try to recreate the tarnsport targets once more for Q to P for SAP

Hi Nisar ,
thanks for your reply.
Actually we have 2 SLDs. one for DEV and Quality and other for Production.
All these settings i have made in SLD of DEV and Quality.
Is it also necessory it transport these SLD settings to SLD of Production?
I have a confusion here. When we transport objects from PIQ to PIP then it refers to which SLD? SLD of PIQ or SLD of PIP?
Thanks,
Atul
Are your production related business systems and others are transported before you could move your scenarios?
thanks
kiran
