in VF01 /pricing conditions, 2 condition types are lost once the doc saved

Hello forum,

Im new to that forum and beginner in SAP.

While creating an invoice with VF01 2 condition types (cumulative payments specific for the customer) are shown in item data detail.

After saving the invoice, these two conditions are lost.

I cant find out whats wrong in customizing, i dont want these 2 conditions disappear (they disappear once the doc saved but are still active because i can access the same information displayed by these conditions when i edit the billing doc).

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,

Pricing in a sales document (whether sales order or invoice) works as

below:

a) First an item pricing for each item runs (function PRICING).

During this pricing run the conditions are re-evaluated based on the

current values for condition basis and scale basis.

Here, the condition values are calculated independently.

b) After this, document pricing (function PRICING_COMPLETE) which runs

when you save the document or switch to the header pricing screen

the system computes the item-spanning condition basis and scale

basis for group condition.

This is where the correct value of the group condition is calculated.

What happens is that PRICING_COMPLETE is called only under the following

conditions for performance reasons:

- When the user saves the document

- Activates in the header condition screen

Another consideration is if you manually change a condition then you must

ensure that when you update pricing that a pricing type which calculates

manual changes is used - please check the pricing type you are using in

PRICING_COMPLETE and ensure you are using one that suits your

requirements.

I hope you find this information very helpful and hopefully it will solve your problem.

Hello,

Thank you very much to both of you for your replies.

I contacted the Dev team, it could be a User Exit that make some condition types disappear once the billing doc is saved.

Hi,

Your client might have insisted that those two condition types should not be visisble in Display mode. That is the reason they might have configured those two conditions types as invisible mode in Display mode..

This will be done thorugh ABAP enhancement...
