Migrate MDM repository from higher to lower version

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to migrate any MDM repository from Higher version to lower version?

When I am trying to unarchive MDM SP06 repository on SP05 server; after unarchiving it's showing Repository is newer than Server. Upgrade option is also disabled.

I can export the schema of that repository and can create a new repository using that schema but that will not give me the data. I want data as well.

Any suggestions.

Hi Varun,

unfortunately this is not possible. The only way would be to export the data and import it to the old version. (after you reached to create a repository with the newer XML schema. This you could do if you create to schemas and check, where there are the differences between the both versions.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear...sorry
