Quota arrangement effecive only after a month

hi,

In my APO scenario i have 2 plants supplying to a distributiion center.

I have a maintained a quota arrangement of 20-80 between them.

But after running a SNP heuristic, i notice ibn product view that the distribution demand

is completely (100%) on plant 1 and only after 40 days the demand is split between the 2 plants as per the quota arrangement.

Could you please explain why this could be happening?

Hi Ganesh,

My Distribution center was in US and my two plants were in US and Europe respectively.

The delivery lead time from the local plant was 8 hrs but the lead time from the plant in Europe was a month (MoT: SHIP). Since there is a difference in lead time, the system allocates 100% of the demand to the local plant till the time the first receipt from the other plant is received which is one month in my case.
