Result of flatfile conversion to XML?

Former Member

Perhaps this is a easy question. I have configured a File Adapter (Sender) to convert a flatfile to XI (XML). I have also built the mapping etc, but when I look at the SXMB_MONI, the information from the flatfile is not there. My question, is it possible to see the XML file that has been generated by the File Adapter before it reach the mapping? I have seen in some Blogs that they show the XML file result from the flatfile so it should be possible. Thanks for a quick answer, I will of course reward you!

Hi Christian,

>>>My question, is it possible to see the XML file that has been generated by the File Adapter before it reach the mapping?

yes of course:)

but first check: http://server:port/mdt/amtServlet

to see if you file adapter is working

if not you have to change the configuration

so it will start working and remember to activate

your communication channel

Hello Michal!

The File Adapter is working, all the messages have status "Successful".

But the message is still empty in SXMB_MONI

but you can see the message inside SXMB_MONI ?

if not try to set LOGGING parameter:

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/05/10/xi-i-cannot-see-some-of-my-messages-in-the-sxmbmoni

but if you can see the message in sxmb_moni

have alook at:

http://server:port/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp

this monitor shows exactly what come out from your ADAPTER

and was posted to the XI integration engine

so this will be what you're looking for I hope:)
