Problems in SmartformsTranslations in SE63

I have created a new text field based on a condition in smartform in an existing window ULINE,which already has TEAROFF text .

Now my problem is that when i go to se 63 translations i am unable to see the new text that i have created.

could some one suggest me why this added text is not appearing in Translations

- Did you activate the form

- Is there any translatable text, if there are only &variable& and statement, no text will be identified.

yes the form was active. As it should show

&new text& in se63 under which i will be writing the translation which i was unable to see .

Variables are not translate-enabled, the line will only appear if there is a "hard typed word" in the original, language.

- "&VAR&" will not appear in SE63

- "hello &VAR&" will appear

The coding of the form must translate variables, SE63 can only translate constant words.

i have hardcoded in smartform but my problem is that it is not appearing in SE63 in this case what is to be done.

so when we go to se63 it should show in source code as

&text&

abcd.......

but this does not happen.

What do you call "hard-coded", for translation

- a text node with "Hello world" is to be translated,

- a code node with VAR = "Hello world" and &VAR& in the text node is not

There should be no "&" with your text.

Yes i know but IN SE63 it is not appearing

as &text&.....as normally this is what happens

Hello,

I have also faced the same problem .In my case the original language of the form was French and i had added the new text in EN.As a result i was not able to see the new text in SE63.

You can check this point in ur case.

Hi,

When u go to se63 there is an option in the menu ,edit-> copy source text . This will solve your problem.

Hi ,

when i say copy source text then the texty which ever is in english will appear same as it is but my problem is this

variable &new field& could not be seen in the source text in that case copy source text would not may not help could u suggest me.....
