Mapping Error

Former Member

Hi Experts,

i m doing an IDOC to file scenario for posting Customer data.

I have done all the design and configurations properly but i m getting the following error while testing the scenario.

com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException thrown during application mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_DEBMDM_to_ECV_Cust_: Parsing an empty source. Root element expected!

My interface mapping and message mapping are fine, i have checked it several times.

Please suggest what can be the cause fo the error and its solution.

Thanks in advance,

Shweta.

hi,

For this error you can check:

1.Context of each node is proper or not.

2.Use display queue at each node in your mapping MM_DEBMDM_to_ECV_Cust to find out which node is not mapped properly.

Hi Ujjwal,

i checked the Display Queue for each node in the mapping.

It executed successfully for all the nodes.

Any other suggestion?

Thanks,

Shweta.

Hi Shweta,

There is nothing wrong with your mapping.

This is happening because your interface is not able to receive the source message at run time.

go for cache refresh .

Starting the server keep it last option.

Change something in your mapping and activate it again. It will works

Also check each and every field you mapped in your mapping
