System is confirming all Planned orders while doing GATP for planned order

Dear All,

While doing Availability check for planned order I am facing following problem:

I have one PPM having 4 child items(eg A,B,C & D). Out of 4 child item, item A has only 1 qty in stock.

If I create first Planned order , system checks ATP for this order. Now if I create another Planned order then system should say "Item A can not be confirmed". This is NOT happening. System is confirming all Planned order irrespective of stock availability.

In other way Temporary allocation of qty is not happening.

Have you defined ATP check for the business event of dependent demand creation and check mode (from location product master) combination ? If this has been defined correctly, then the GATP check on planned order should work.
