Hi,

end-to-end monitoring:

u can monitor the message processing steps across different components of XI. suppose if u have configured various SAP components with XI, u can monitor end to end process of all the components. it gives u graphical representation of all the components involved in end-end process.

in turn u can view the path if specific message processing of particular components involved in process using 'instance view'. detailed description is available here for each message.

Hello,

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/0f/80243b4a66ae0ce10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

That link will help you with the roles.

For RWB we usually have the default user XIRWBUSER with the role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER assigned.

check transaction SICF for service sap/bc/bsp/sap/spi_monitor? If it is not activated (displayed in gray), activate it by right clicking and choosing Activate Service.

Have a look of oss note 677118

hi

Setup XIRWBUSER with the following Roles:

SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER

SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE

SAP_XI_BPE_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP

SAP_XI_DEMOAPP

SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER

SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN

This should enable you to use the RWB.

Log into j2ee_admin console and activate full trace for this component. it might show what roles you are missing.

SID > Server > Services > Log Configurator > Locations > XIRWB then change log to debug/ALL.

This may give you an indciation of what's missing

Hi,

u need not separately activate End to End monitoring.

It is normally available when XI server is installed.

Kindly contact your BASIS support...

Hi,

In sxmb_adm set parameter PMI_MONITORING

On initial screen of runtime work bench ,select configuration tab page.

2.enter the logon data for the monitoring server.

3.choose display.

4.system displays the components of the correct domain and the integration server is selected as default.

5.select the other components that you want to use and configure them as sender or receiver ,or both depending on the component type.

6.we can select monitorin level that we want to use for each of the selected component.

7.Choose save configuration .
