Rebate partial settlement

Instead of creating rebate partial settlement I created full settlement. And credit memo also created; now the status of the rebate agreement is showing 'D'.

Now I want to cancel all the transactions and create partial settlement.

Can anyone suggest what are the steps I need to follow?

First of all thank u for time on this thread.

I tried the process suggested by you, but the rebate status is still D, I could not even see the rebate agreement even in change mode.

Pls lookinto any other possible options.

1. Cancel the billing document, that is, your credit memo;

2. Reject your rebate credit memo request by the reason W1 ( in error).

Go back to your rebate agreement you can now do a final settlement.
