regarding FKD-0049 XML Parser Error

Hi guys,

I tried installing NW7.0 ACC7.1, During installation with "Continue with old installation" i get below error

Below log is from Sapinst_dev.log file

FKD-00049 XML parser error: error: no DTD specified, can't validate in line 1, 1

in file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.xml.

Unable to start a service execution.

Please check the following information for the possibble reason

and inform the installation development :

Running with dialog file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/dialog.xml

Running with keydb file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/keydb.xml

Target node does not exists and (mode & ISyNode::MISSING) ==> I will copy/move.

Copying file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.xml to /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.6.xml

Copied file '/tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.xml' to '/tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.6.xml'.

XML parser error: error: no DTD specified, can't validate in line 1, 1

in file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/PI71/INSTALL/SYSTEM/ORA/STD/AS/statistic.xml.

Could you tell me how to solve this problem without starting from scratch or begining.

OS is solaris9 and DB is Oracle 10g

Never seen this error before... but the file keydb.xml contains the info to resume the "Old installation" check that the entries on this file are correct and best of luck.

thanks for your reply. I solve the problem.

my statistic file got corrupted and had size of 0. so i replaced with last backup statistic file. and restarted again.

It works for me.
