quantity contract : raise release order

1.We have created a quantity contract 001 with Target quantity 10

2 Now we raised a Sales order with ref. to quantity contract for 10 quantities.

So now we have used all the allocated quantity from the contract 001

3. Now we try to raise again Sales Order /release order w.r.t quantity contract

We get error u2018The reference has already been completely copied or rejectedu2019 error Message 15

we should be able to raise sales order/release order for contracts whose Target Quantity has been completely copied

How to achieve this

Hello,

If you want the system to allow creating release order from the contract for which already the reference quantity has been completely copied, you need to set the item category.

Check the item category, and change the completion rule to blank (Not relevent for completion).

SPRO--> S&D --> Sales --> Sales Dcuments --> Sales document item --> Define itemcategories.

Select the item category and change the completion rule.

In the Item Category of the Quantity contract - in the field COMPLETION RULE- select appropriate value so that unlimited referencing will be allowed and you can create any number of release order until the end of the contract validity.
