Installation Export DVDs are not detected by SAPInst in ECC 6.0

Hi All,

At the right before ABAP Import Phase in ECC 6.0 Installation, SAPInst is not able to detect the Installation Media which is already there.

Does anyone knows the internal SAPInst file name / path where this media is being stored ? or how to resolve this ?

Pl. note the SAPInst Log below .

I have seen so many problems when using a network-disk.

In order to avoid strange errors: Always place the Export-DVD's on a local disk.

Make sure that the network shares are accessible with user <sid>adm created during the installation.

Hi,

check the passwords of the OS users in sapinst. I had the same problem, when i mistyped the password.

It might have been great if we could know whether the problem was with passwords or the export directories are not on local drive

Hello ,

Are you able to access the Network Share from your desktop ?

For eg : RUN ->
rosapbiq1\o$\ERP6-SR3\51033500-2\EXP11.

Make sure that it should accessible form Server also in between the installation
