How to fix External url pointing to internal url

How to fix external URL pointing to internal url iview. Is ther any how to guide.

We are using Web Dispatcher.

We follwed SAP Help again and did the necesary changes.

The whole idea with Webdispatcher is to redirect url's.

Please clearify you question. Presenting an example is always an good idea.

Hi Tomas,

We are on EP 7.0 SP12 and also federated with CRM and BI Portals.

We are trying to access few of our WAD BI reports from BI system through BI Portal.

The Federated Portal is working fine.

We are not able to login into BI portal from from external facing portal. But it is working in internal domain.

Somewhere the connection is breaking between External Portal and BI Portal. We are ging the user id and password and it is not giving any response... after entering the user id and password it remain the logon screen.

We are trying to locate the problem...but don't know where the issue is. I am thing is this related to Web Dispatcher or problem in the configuration of ume.login.mdc.hosts ?

I tried to implement the following help...

I am not clear with the path setting mentioned in the procedure.
