Device type copy

Dears:

I want to do the device type copy from CNSAPWIN to ZCNSAPWN, but there is one field named package need to to select during the copy, do you know what should i input there?

Also before the copying, there is one selection named use reference, i don't know what is that? I need to select or not?

What package you should use depends on your own naming convention within the company.

If you enter Z* and press F4 in the package-field you will get a list of your companies defined packages. If the list is empty, also try Y* and press F4.

The easiest way to find out the correct one to use is to ask your ABAP-developers who should have a better understanding of the conventions.

The named user is for responsibility usage. The entered user is responsible for the new Device Type.
