Dear all

What is the integration process of any cad package with SAP?

If my company uses 3D modeling software like ProE, Catia and I want to transfer documents, Material master and BOM details to SAP with seamless or batch mode options then what is the standard methodology ?

For SAP CAD interface you need to install software developed by PLM Alliance

CAD Integration solutions are developed by SAP Partner for each CAD Integration

For AutoCAD/ AutoDesk INVENTOR - CIDEON

For CATIA V4,V5 - CEINIT

For Pro/Engineer - .RIESS

For Solid Edge& Solid works - GEDAS

For Unigraphics - DSC

The Software are distributed by SAP.

Customization is taken care by development partner

only for clarification:

Since December 2007 the responsibility for Solid Edge& Solid Works SAP Interface moved from gedas to CIDEON.
