Variant configuration

Hi,

Please explain me the configuration with 3 characteristics.

I have to configure car. the car is having two variants : Petrol & Diesel. Further on they also have variants:

Petrol variant comes with other two variants VXI and LXI.

Similarly Diesel variant also comes with two other variant VDI and LDI.

The price should be picked on the combination of petrolVXI/LXI OR DieselLDI/VDI. whenever a person is giving wrong entry like Petrol+vdi....it should give the error.

Pls give the full configuration details.

Read through Variant configuration training material. you can find it through this site, and there is material on the internet too.

1) Search for it

2) Read it.

3) Create your VC based on that information.

4) Only after 1-3 come back and ask a specific question if you are running into issues.

I'm sure someone will post the step-by-step instructions, but you won't really learn anything until you take the time to try it yourself.
