I am new to this apo

can any one tell me the relation ship between bw and apo and how bw works with apo

And also about sub modules in apo.

hi :

Internal BW system is integrated in SCM(APO) system and it cant be separated .While all anlysis should be done in external BW system , internal BW system's only purpose is to provide demand planning data and saver data in database .

You can do following in SAP BW inside SAP SCM :

Create chracteristics,Key figures, Info cubes & navigational attributes

Load planning relevent data

Take back up from planning area into BW for reporting and saving .

These are sub modules in APO :

Demand planning

Supply Network Planning

Production Planning and detailed scheduling

Transportation Planning and vehicle scheduling

Global available to Promise
