Fiscal Year Variant

Dear All,

I would like to create Fiscal Year Variant for only 1 Period i.e for Year.

Bucket Strat Date is 01-04-2008 & Bucket End date is 31-03-2009.

Can anyone tell me how to create Fiscal Year Variant for above scenario?

Dear all,

please consider the note 1024356 - it has all the details. But be carefull as this note actuallt contains an error (we already started discussion with SAP trying to fix it).

So in your case I would recommend the following settings:

2007:

Mon Day Period Year_shift

12 31 1 0

2008:

Mon Day Period Year_shift

3 31 1 -1

12 31 1 0

2009:

Mon Day Period Year_shift

3 31 1 -1

12 31 1 0

2010:

Mon Day Period Year_shift

3 31 1 -1

12 31 1 0

Please consider: "The periods need to be maintained for at least 1 year prior and 1 year after the fiscal years being used. i.e. if you use a fiscal year variant for 2005 to 2007, then the periods also need to maintained for 2004 and 2008 in addition to 2005 to 2007."

The following logic of variant should work

Month Day Period Year shift

3 31 1 0

12 31 1 +1

Do check and update if this works

I think not a correct logic...
