Hi! Manoj,

Follow the steps :

1) Create a folder saprouter in c:\usr\sap\saprouter

2) copy niping.exe and saprouter.exe from kernel or sap marketplace

3) Create a folder saprouttab. Create a text file in notepad without any ext .

File name saprouttab.

Contant looks like :

4) Install the saprouter as servece and start it.

Hi all!

I've to install the saprouter.

And i'd like to heve some advice from you expert.

I downloaded the 2 files: LOPinstallation and serviceconnector. I downloade the crypto library too.

I'd like to know all the basics aboute saprouter installation:

what kind of hw is needed to run saprouter? is enough a pc like pentium 3 500 mhz, 1 GB of ram with win xp SP2 installed?

under wich path i have to put theese files?

I need a sap instance installed on it?

And how create the router permission table?

How to use the 2 exe downloaded?

I already read the saprouter guide, but i cannot find this answer for my questions.

Hi all!

-On a pc with 512 MB work fine

-The files must be put in the folder named saprouter

- no, you do not need a sap instance, only the executables files (saprouter.exe; saprouttab)

- edit the file saprouttab with an editor, and change the permission.

Yes, SAProuter can be installed in XP. This is only consist of two small program files.

Hi,

as saprouter is part of the kernel it's supported on all platforms the related kernel is supported. And as I don't know a kernel for WIN XP I don't think it's officialy supported.
