I want to deploy and access a j2ee application from within the portal.
One way to do it might be to create a url iView to access the j2ee application.
Is there any other way?
This might be an often visited topic, poiters to existing discussions wld help too.

Hi,
I am also trying a way out for this and here is what i referred to.
1. Created a HTTP System in System Administration -> System Configuration -> System Landscape.
2. On creation of Alias and setting other parameters the alias are displayed on the UserMapping screen.
Refer link for setting Parameters.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/61/2f0e84397f47919ac91ac712c90dfd/content.htm
I am still working on the parameters, still unsuccessful though.

Hi,
another option could be to declare a reference to the J2EE application and then look objects of it from your portal all. See <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/9ddf20bb211d72e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm">this</a> page.
Hope that helps!
