Testing -No status update happ after a test case is run in solution manager

After a test case is executed from a testpackage, the results/status of the test run is not updated automatically in Solution Manager, even if System->Status->'Update Test plan automatically' is checked.Instead its throwing the message "Results Are Not Transferred Automatically to Status". Please check the attachments for description with screen

shots.

What has to be done to make the status to be updated automatically in Solution manager, as and when the test is run.

Steps for the Reconstruction

In Solution manager, create a test plan. select any transaction and create a catt for it and assign the same to this test plan in solution manager. Generate

a test package for the test plan and assign it a tester. Then login with the tester's login and enter the transaction stwb_work. Select that particular test package. And click on run test case button for

that testcase. In the 'Start CATT test cases local' dialog box, select 'short' for log type and 'background' for processing mode. Click on start remote button and select RT1 for R/3 RFC destinations and execute it. Then the following message is displayed - "Results Are Not Transferred Automatically to Status".

Hello Irudayaraj,

For automatic update in solution manager via test package/plan, there is one check box. On the execution of package, on Start Option screen, there is one checkbox 'Status in TWB'. Select this option so that the testing status of package will automatically reflect.

I am currently working on upgrading from R/3 4.7 to ECC6.

I would like to have the solman involved as in this project.
