IDOC XML_CONVERSION integration engine parameter

Hello,

I try to use the integration engine parameter

IDOC XML_CONVERSION

I have tried to set it to 0, 1 and 2 but it has no effect when I test.

I send in an idoc using the java connector to send the idoc into xi via the idoc adapter.

In the monitor the idoc shows up as xml.

I expect the idoc to show up as a standard idoc (not xml), when this parameter is set.

Is it necessary to reboot anything to make configurations changes take effect?

Any suggestions?

it only works with idoc to idoc scenarios I think

when you send from SAP to SAP through XI
