Hi

I don't really know MaxDB , but I used google for about 3 minutes:

/sapdb/EAA/saplog is the location of your log volumes.

More info see:

Hello Kiran,

you (or your system admin) would be the best person yourself to check what is filling up this directory.

You should check which files are there and if they are growing or if there are any new files filling up the directory.

Regarding the name of the directory I have two ideas:

1. you store the log backup files in there

2. you store the log volumes in there and just added a new log volume

Solution in case 1: archive the older log backup files to a tape and delete them from this directory.

Solution in case 2: provide more disk space or store the new log volume on a different disk.

Regards,

Melanie
