Clovis,

the converter stores for at least two different pages the same block address on the volumes. Page 145158 is the second one to reference block number 27398 on data volume 2.

There is no fix for this besides restoring the database from backup.

But what happened to the database? Do you experience memory or storage problems?

Special operation conditions?

What version was the database running on?

Hi, Henrik

The version is 7.6.03.15, i just shutdown the system yesterday and today on reboot i get this problem, i restored from a old complete backup, my luck is that this is running in a test database then if i loss data that is in log i dont have problems, but if that occurs on a production system, and i have just the one complete backup, and only autolog backup, the data that is in log area and not restored from autolog backup, will be lost?

best regards

Clóvis,

all the data in your productive scenario can be restored.

You'll restore the full data backup, the log from the auto-log files and finally the log entries from the log area - which is still intact. The defects converter entries do not affect the log area, just the data area.

regards,

Henrik
