Hi Experts,
I am working on an IDOC to File scenario in which i have to take IDOCs from the ECC system and convert them into XML file and post it in a folder in MDM system.
while extracting the IDOC from the ECC system however, i am getting the error "Receiver could not be determined for MDMRECEIPT".
I have specified MDMRECEIPT in the outbound parameters of the partner profile.
Also, the entry can be seen in SXMB_MONI in XI with the chequred flag, but it says "Acknowledgement contains system errors".
The correct xml file doesnt reach the specified folder in MDM but we get a file called "Ready.url" in the same.
Can you please tell me what is this file and what is the reason for this kind of error.
I have checked the ALE settings and everything seems to be fine.
Thanks in advance,
Shweta.
Hi Shweta,
could you pls confirm me, idoc is appearing in IDX5.
if it avialble, then test configuration in ID by copying the pay load.

hi,
At XI side create an RFC destination ...
Then IDX1 --> create port and mention the rfc
then IDX2 --> check whether the idoc type is available else create by mentioning the port created in IDX1...
and also click the remote logon button once for both rfc and see whether successful or not...

Use Case: Extraction of Master Data
MDMRECEIPT IDoc Type
MDMRECEIPT is an old message type that has its origin in MDM 2.0 and MDM 3.0. As
transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR still has to support the old MDM releases, you have to configure
this IDoc type in ALE, although it is not used in standard MDM 5.5 scenarios. If you run an
extractions and it fails with error u201CBI 003 u2013 Could not determine recipients for message type
MDMRECEIPTu201D, you havenu2019t configured your ALE correctly. Please refer to chapter 5 of the
u201CMDM IT Scenario Configuration Guideu201D and ensure a proper setup of ALE in your SAP ERP
system
you might want to refer to this document and double check?
