Problems on Accounting Integration MLC

Former Member

Hi Experts,

We are getting an error when trying to perform MLC in cProjects 4.0.

If turning on automatic MLC, we get the error Internal error: Calling costing leads to exception

If working with manual MLC, in the screen for searching PS projects

1. We don't get any of the search fields

2. We don't find any project in the system

As a test, I can say it is possible to create object links to WBS elements in the Object link tabs correctly.

Any idea on what can be failing here?

Thank you!

Kind regards,

Neil

Hi Neil,

Internal error: Calling costing leads to exception --> use note 1019075.

-

for mannual please check the settings

-->spro

-->Collrabration project

-->Connection to External system

-->Account integration

-->define object link for account integration

In that page you will find two object type on right side table

one for WBS elemet and another for internal order

select: 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS

Then double click on Name of classes inSAP (letf hand side dialog structure)

then change the proxy class CL_R3_OLR3_PROJECTDEFINATION or CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT

Also check project type details wether you have activated Accounting integration scenario if please activte

and please check is any project is created from PS module or not

and Also take help of note 977951

this note support for ECC 6.0 And cproject suit 4.00

thanks

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for your help, but the configuration is already made, and the note you suggest are for internal order scenario while we are working on multilevel controlling.

The proxy class is the right one - CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT

(it works for the object link to wbs elements) and projects are created.

Maybe the main clue is that the search field do not work either in the accounting tab. They do on the object links and the same searchfields are customized for both links.

Any idea?

Hi Neil ,

Check this input also

1) In account integration --> make genaral seetings

Project type and object type assingment

For MLC project use 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS .And no cost indicator .

2) when you make setting in ERP In Controlling define controlling Scenario your project type have correct Controlling method.and CO senario.

Hi,

The assignment between project type and object type is correctly set.

Also, the settings in ECC system are correct (controling scenario with PS06 costing variant for ECP)

Why do you say we should tick the no costing flag? I want to perform the costing out of cProjects...

Thanks

Hi,

I still don't know what maybe wrong: the conections work fine and seems like the proxy classes exist in ECC...

Any ideas may help to drive us to the right answer...

Thanks

Hi Neil,

Please check the customizing which Sunil suggested, please double click of the item '0FIN_INT_ERP_PS', and check if the destination maintained correctly. And doulbe check using SM59.

Kind regards,

Hi Zhenbo,

The destination is maintained correctly, and I have used this very same RFC connection to access the system and make the settings on the ECC system.

Any other idea on what can be causing this weird behaviour?

Thanks

Hi all,

Just so you know, the problem causing internal error was the costing variant specified in the customizing point for Easy Cost Planning was not an ad hoc costing variant.

We are still looking deeper into this other problem of not finding PS projects.
