Just go to SE16 to maintain SPROXSET table.

Column NAME: IFR_ADDRESS

Column VALUE: for example, pwdf0436:1080/rep

User and password are also taken from the table SPROXSET

(Entries with the name "IFR_USER" or "IFR_PASSWORD").

and

Run this report to check/maintain the address of the IB:

TOCODE: SE38

Execute the report:SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS

Hi Guest

I have similar problem for my system.

when i try to check in se16 the table entry SPROXSET->execute

it then opens a screen

data browser: table SPROXSET: slection screen

which again asks for inputs.

I gave inputs and do search it says no value find for selection screen.

My doubt is do i need to create the vale myself.

If not then how can i check the value for this table.

your guidance in this concern is highly appreciated.

hi,

The HTTP port of the R/3 application server may be incorrectly configured; contact your system administrator if necessary. Alternatively, log onto another application server in this system that has a functioning HTTP port.

Hi chandra..

now i need to configure the HTTP port in Application system ( that is R/3 not the XI)..

this has to be done even in R/ 3 .. May i confirm that the RFC which are in this blog

/people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies

if i do this configuration in R/3 side ..my proxy configuration is done..

Now i have few doubts in the RFC configuration accoring to this blog... what is the service number..

I have configured RFC destination name is SAPISU_XID.. when i test this i am getting error as..

ICM_HTTP_CONECTION_FAILED..

so please guide in completing this configuraion...

Thanks and Regards

hi,

try this note:824554

Service number: 80

Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP Port (transaction

SMICM) and not the J2EE port

2.If the port is wrong, change the pipeline URL in the SLD in

the business system of the Integration Server

3.Restart the J2EE Engine to reset the SLD buffer of the

Adapter Engine

and also check whether HTTP service is active

go thru this blog

hi

it is necessary to have this RFC dest SAPSLDAPI, LCRSAPRFC

1. Create RFC destination (TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI for the SLD connection.

1.Execute transaction SM59 in the business system.

2.Choose Create.

3.Enter at least the following:

1.RFC Destination: LCRSAPRFC

2.Connection Type: T

3.Description: <your description>

4.Choose ENTER.

5.Choose the Technical settings tab page and do the following:

6.In the Program ID field under Registered Server Program, enter LCRSAPRFC

7.This program ID must correspond to a program ID specified in the RFC engine settings of the SAP J2EE Engine on the Integration Server host.

RFC Destination

2. Maintaining the SAP J2EE Connection Parameters for LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI in SAP J2EE engine

1. Goto J2EE Engine

2. Choose Cluster --> Server --> Services. JCo RFC provider

3. Under RFC destination specify the following:

Program ID: LCRSAPRFC

Gateway Host: <Integration Server host>

Gateway Service: <Integration Server gateway service>

Number of process: 3

4. Under Repository specify the following:

Application Server: <Integration Server host>

5. Choose Set.

3. Maintain SLD access details in Transaction SLDAPICUST

i have sucessfully finished the RFC destinations..

wheni check SLDCHECK in r/3 it shows this erroe and in XI server every this correct and working fine...

then i got this error

No SLD server access data maintained

=> Use transaction SLDAPICUST to maintain the SLD server access data

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

in SLDAPICUST i have to maintain manually in R/3 details of XI server or this values automatically assignes.

and when i testing the SAPISU_XID this rfc same error is comming...

hi,

Make sure the XIAPPLUSER is having all the authorizations in the XI box as mentioned in the configuration guide of XI.

Do check whether you have the INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI RFC destination is maintained in your R/3 and the connection user is maintained as XIAPPLUSER and its password.

XI Server

-

Exchange Profile path:

http://pidev.abc.com:50100/exchangeProfile

R/3 Server

-

Exchange Profile path:

http://r3dev.abc.com:50200/exchangeProfile

Hi,

Please check once again user name & passowrd.

once u test connection, it will show HTTP response as "500'.

once u open sproxy, u have an option i.e

goto-> connection test.

it will show four report programs, try to execute those individually and let us know any problem u r facing.

1.sproxy_check_ifr_address

2.sproxy_check_http_communication

3.sproxy_check_ifr_response

4.sproxy_check_ifr_connection.

and please make sure role of busines system as application server in ECC and maintain corresponding integration server.

mahesh.

Hi,

All the settings given in the blog shld be done in Application System( SAP R/3)

As part of XI Post Configuration , some of the steps shld be configured before this in XI

Like

1) Creation of RFC's like SAPSLDAPI, LCRSAPRFC

2) Maintain these in Visual admin and all

3) Configure SLDAPICUST in XI

Hi,

Both the end (R3 as well as XI) the configuration is required.

Path prefix:

Use the following path prefixes in the Target System Settings.

/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.40 (Higher than XI 3.0 message protocol). that means it is appicable for PI 7.0

/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.20 (XI 2.0 message protocol).

Please reward points

Thanks

Vikranth
