How to update all condition records at a time with some percentage or some

Dear Sir,

In PRD system we have more than 600 condtion records.

Noe desiel hikes happend, due to that client want to update all condition records(600) at a time with required percentage or required value.

How to update all records at a time

You can do this with standard maintenance transactions. If you have say 5,000 conditions with validity 01/Jan./2007 - 31/Dec/2009 and want to terminate these at 30/Jun/08 and then enter new prices at plus 30% effective 01/Jul/2008 proceed as follows :

VK12 : select all; change end validity to 30/Jun/2008; save.

VK14 : select all; change validity to 01/Jul/2008 - 31/Dec/2009; select all; press "change amount"; enter 30% and "copy"; save.

Do we require to upload the excel file for updating the condition records with new validity periods and new prices.

i mean First we need to change the validity periods of present records.

Second we need to update the hike prices with new validity periods.

This means two times we need to run the transaction.

Hi,

Through BDC or LSMW first you have to do the recording for particular transaction code and then base on that u have to prepare the flat file to upload the file for the same.

For BDC programing you have to take the help of ABAP progmer but LSMW you can also do.

I mean, i want to update old condition records with valid to date only. I mean all old condition records are valid to till 04/06/2008

The new condition records are valid from 05/06/2008 with 30% hike on existed records.

Could you give me the logic for preparing the FS for BDC?
