How to schedule equiments in PS

Hi,

I have many equipments and many projects too, these equipments are used for projects,

Please let me know how to schedule equipments to be able to use equipments efficiently and on time

Hi Long,

Define equipments as work centers. Assign them to different actiivties in your project. Schedule the activities. Further you can also do capacity planning.

Hi Long,

You assign equipments to Project as PRTS...

Steps:

1) Define your equipment as PRT.

2) Assign the Equipment to the activity which utilises it in Tcode CN22.

3) You can view the requirement date of the Equipment in the Structure overview,CNS41.

The only disadvantage here is you cannot view it in the project builder or planning board.

But there is a provision to view it in the information system planning board.

That is open any structure overview report in the information system ,from there open graphic--> planning board,there you can view it in the planning board.

If your requirement is only schedule date you can very well see it in the structure overview.

Thank you very much for your answer. But maybe you don't understand my question, I want to explain more:

I have an equipment, I want to used it for many different projects,

do SAP has any solution to manage all tasks that the equipment is assigned to in multi-projects ?
