Display names of BPs

Hello gurus!

Is there a way to change to display names of Business Partner names like this:

first must be "Surname", second - "Name", without initials.

Example.

Now is displayed like this: Konstantin K. V. Melnik

We want like this: Melnik Konstantin.

cProjects 4.0 on CRM 5.0.

BPs transfered from HR via ALE.

Hi Konstantin,

I don't know if this affects the exibition of BP names in cProjects, but you may check out the following customization.

- Transaction "BP"

- Go to the "Address" tab in one of your Business Partners profile

- In the "Name" field-group, there is a "Country for Format" field with the country-code of that Business Partners naming format

- Put your cursor on it and press F1 to get the Help popup. There should be a generic description about that field.

- Click on the link "name format rule key" in that description. There you should get a deeper explanation about name formats.

- Check transaction SA13 to change the name format for that specific country-code and try if it works for cProjects also.

Thanks for the answer, but this name formatting doesn't affect on displaying names in cProjects.

Hi Konstantin,

To change the name to be displayed in cProjects, go to transaction BP, select the corresponding business partner in General view.

In the tab address, sub section name, you will find a plus symbol at the bottom right to display more fields. Fill in the name you want to see in the Full name field.

Hi,

Because of the BPs are transferred from HR to CRM I can't edit this field.

you can do one thing, at surname place u can put name and at intial place you put surname.

Hello Konstantin,

just for your information, here's a BADI 'PRP_BUPA_CUST_FIELDS'

for cProjects available. Maybe it can also be used for your needs.
