alert criticality

When i create alerts,

how can i decide and define those alerts based on criticality.I mean low,medium,High,critical.

Can some one guide me..

Hi,

If any error occurs while the message flow in Adapter engine or integration server then we need to send the mail or alert message to the corresponding person,for that reason we will create an Alert.

to create an alert we have to create the Alert category in ALRTCATDEF and after the we have to define the rules(condition) were we have to catch the errors in AE or IS.

When to create

sender communication channel,sender agreement

Except Sender HTTP, IDOC Adapters & Proxy need to create sender communication channel,sender agreement

receiver determination receiver agreements, Need to Create.

ALRTMON u2013 to monitor MPA alerts (whatever they are)

1)Alerts can be used to prevent delays in the processing of critical situations, because the time between discovering and responding to such situations is reduced considerably.

2) while defining your Alert Catgory , you have can actually set the Priority as High , Low, medium.
