Proxy generation java.sql.Date being convertd to java.util.calendar

Hi,

I have a web service in which there is a field of the data type java.sql.Date.

I try to create a proxy for this web service and the field is converted from java.sql.Date to java.util.Calendar of type datetime.

I want the proxy to maintain the type to be java.sql.Date.

Any idea why this is happening and how this can be corrected.
