Deployment queued and never completes

I have an NWDI track. I've made a modification, checked in the activity, activated....

The activation shows succeeded and deployment shows queued. It's been queued since yesterday afternoon - so I'm sure it's not still trying to deploy.

Any thoughts on what would stop a deployment?

Had password problems with cms account and sdm was stopped.

HI,

There if the automatic deployment check box is checked, then there is no issue with your NWDI. Its and issue at your WAS side.

The Deployment is stuck because there is an problem with WAS SDM. check the deployment log at your WAS server side.

Hi Diane,

Check the following in CMS

1) Go to CMS --> Landscape Configurator --> Runtime Systems

Make Sure that checkbox u2018disable automatic deploymentu2019 is not checked.

2) Make sure that sdm details are correct in Runtime tab

we had similar issue and restart of the NWDI server fixed the issue, it happened twice in last one year and we could not identify at what situation does this happen. so i suggest you to restart your NWDI server for automatic deployment.
