problem in installation of NW 2004 Stack 9

hi,

When i am trying to install NW 2004s Stack 9, i am an error in the "Create users for SAP system" in the Step "Execute Service".

ERROR 2008-06-05 16:15:23

FSL-01002 Unable to create account <Hostname>\SAPService<SID>. HRESULT=0x80005009

ERROR 2008-06-05 16:15:23

MUT-03025 Caught ESyException in Modulecall: ESAPinstException: error text undefined.

ERROR 2008-06-05 16:15:23

FCO-00011 The step createAccounts with step key |NW_Workplace|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .

My installation is stopping.

i have got my system formatted recently.

I have setup my JAVA_HOME in the environment variables.

Hi,

Please Make sure that you are logged onto your local machine and that you have admin rights/permission to create Systemusers.Please Check this link & see if it helps...

hi,

i did not have this user in my system.

i restarted my system and gain tried..it gave me the same error

again i restarted and ran the instalaltion...it ran fine.

Hello ,

You are getting the error while creating the Service account ( Unable to create account <Hostname>\SAPService<SID>. ) .

Check the user exists in the system delete user - Restart Installation

OR

Create the user SAPService<SID> manually - Restart Installation .

Assuming that you are using Windows Server .

My Computer -> Right Click -> Manage -> Local Users & Groups -> Users
