WBS element description not getting added

Dear Experts,

The issue is

The SAP projects is RD-000382 for which the description in SAP is also "NT Admin Project". However "NT Admin Project" is missing from the WBS element descriptions (RD-000382-001, RD-000382-002 and RD-000382-003) leaving just the Company Codes and Region codes which are added by the SAP load program.

As per the logic Project description will add to WBS element including with company code and regional code.

Please have a look and suggest me the possibilities for thios error.

Hi,

Not sure what the requirement is?

But the below mentioned is a functionality Available in PS.

Step1. OPSA, Select the desired Profile, Control Tab check mark the Transfer to Project Definition.

Step2: CJ11. Create WBS ELement here.

So the WBS Created here with RD-000382 and desc. "NT Admin Project".

will get copied to the Project definition level automatically.

But the constraint to use this functionality is to use Tcodes CJ11 and CJ12.

No other Tcode will have this effect.

Thanks for response. As per standard you are right. But ours is a scenario that project description will get added automatically to WBS including company code and regional code.

we upload the project from Mipps( scenario) through IDOC. Here is the error.

Hi,

Check if any validation and substitution rules are created.

Make sure the automatic is checked in project profile.
