login problem ume

Hi Friends,

when installing the j2ee engine, we selected database option and now i changed it to datasourceconfiguration_abap.xml as mentioned in 718383.

but now I am facing a strange problem, i.e.

As expected the users and roles are synced to the j2ee engine, when I login as "Administrator" from ume, I am not able to login, but when I login from Visual J2ee engine administrator, I am able to login.

could some one please let me know the reason for this strange behaviour.

Hi ,

From your question i understand that you want to configure UME with LDAP, right?

If so what is the LDAP you are using ?and try to select a "readonly " datasource for your LDAP and provide the logon credentials of your LDAP user.
