Hi All,

I have created a few web dynpro applications and using iViews I have deployed it over the portal and now the requirement is to access it over the internet. For this is have got a public ip.

I am now able to log in to the portal thru the internet but when i try to access the Web Dynpro Applications it simply doesnt work and gives me a page not found error. Whereas on the same hand all the standard application which have Java Web Dynpro are being accesses thru the internet.

Just to add all these ABAP Webdynpro applications are working in Intranet.

Can anyone let me please let me know how this can be solved. guys its bit urgent.

Regards

Vinay Parab

When you have WDA applications running within the portal, it is still being served via the backend ABAP application server and not the portal directly. That means that you could have the host and port of the portal open to the internet, but not the backend ABAP application server - hence the problem you are seeing. Contact the people that manage your firewall and see if the hostname/URL and Port of the ABAP system is allowed through.
