Can we do partial delivery in sales BOM?

if yes how?

because as per my knowldge we cant do partial delivery in BOM.

Dear Rahul

What do you mean by partial delivery ?? Say for a particular material, if you have order for 100 nos. with sales BOM, you can deliver partially. But if you want to make partial delivery for a particular component in sales BOM, then it is not possible.

Hi Rahul,

As said by Mr. Lakshmipathi , we definately can not partially deliver the BOM.

Further to that I would like to add some more to it,

1. You can extend an order BOM, by transferring items from an existing order BOM or material BOM.

2. It is not possible to transfer items from a configurable BOM.

3. A result-oriented order BOM is non-configurable. Therefore, you cannot create class items in these bills of material either.

*4. You canu2019t create alternative BOMs for an order BOM & you canu2019t create variant BOMs for an order BOM.*

Hello,

Partial delivery is BOM components are not allowed.

But if an order for a BOM is for 10 numbers, you can deliver 5.
